SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

1. SHIPPING & DELIVERY TIMELINES

1.1 Production, Crafting & Processing

Because our collections are handcrafted by local master artisans, inventory status dictates dispatch timelines:

  • In-Stock Items: Handled, packed, and dispatched immediately.

  • Artisanal Production Items: Require 7 to 10 days of dedicated crafting time before they are ready for shipment.

1.2 Global Transit & Courier Partners

We partner with premier global networks—primarily DHL and FedEx—to provide secure international air freight. Once dispatched, your tracking ID/Air Waybill (AWB) is automatically transmitted to your registered email address.

  • Domestic (India): Reaches destination within 2 to 4 working days.

  • International: Reaches destination within 7 to 10 business days.

Timeline Disclaimer: Stated transit windows are professional estimates. Delivery may occasionally take longer due to customs clearance protocols, severe weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain), or unavoidable regional emergencies.

1.3 Complimentary International Shipping Program

International shipping is absolutely free across our entire global delivery network.

2. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY

2.1 United States Market Framework

Orders destined for the United States are generally processed under a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) structure, meaning international customs or standard import duties are included.

  • Regulatory Exception: In the event that any specific customs, tariffs, or emergency duty taxes are explicitly imposed by U.S. federal authorities at the port of entry, those charges are the direct responsibility of the buyer and must be paid to the clearing agency. They are not part of the base product price or shipping fee.

2.2 Global Tax & Tariff Coverage (Canada, UK, Europe & Other Countries)

For international shipments entering Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and other serviced global destinations, customers are not responsible for out-of-pocket border assessments. All statutory Import VAT, Goods and Services Tax (GST), customs duties, or sovereign tariffs are managed and settled in strict compliance with cross-border commerce laws.

2.3 Address Accuracy & Delivery Failures

The Client must provide an accurate, complete address and a valid telephone number. If a shipment is returned to our origin facilities due to incomplete, missing, or incorrect addressing data, the Customer must bear the full financial cost of both the Return-to-Origin (RTO) penalty fees and the subsequent reshipping charges.

3. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders can only be cancelled prior to dispatch. Once an item has been handed over to our courier partners and a tracking number/AWB has been generated, the shipment cannot be cancelled or recalled under any circumstances.

4. HANDMADE ARTISANAL DISCLOSURE

All structural carvings, detail work, and finishing layers are executed entirely by hand. Consequently, minor carving differences, subtle variations, and natural texture markers are expected and inherent to the work. These distinct variations represent the unique beauty of authentic handmade crafts and are not classified as manufacturing defects.

5. EXCLUSIVE DAMAGE & DEFECT EXCHANGE POLICY

5.1 Non-Returnable Final Sale Rule

All items are strictly Non-Returnable. Choice-based returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind or personal preference are not accepted.

5.2 Exchange Eligibility Criteria

An item is eligible for an exchange or replacement only in the unlikely event that it is:

  • Damaged or broken while in transit.

  • Structurally defective.

  • Delivered incorrectly (wrong product specification).

5.3 Mandatory Evidence & 7-Day Claim Window

To qualify for a transit-damage or defect exchange, a formal claim must be lodged with our support team via care@luxeartisanship.com within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.

Mandatory Requirement: The exchange request will only be processed if it is accompanied by a continuous, uncut, and completely unedited package-opening video that clearly captures the unbroken outer box seal being opened and the physical damage unveiled. Claims lacking this unedited video dossier will be automatically declined.
